Dr. Prakash Bhoopalam, MD
Dr. Prakash Bhoopalam has been in practice in Muncie since 1992. He completed a fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and was a chief Resident in Pediatrics at McMaster University Medical Center in Hamilton, Canada. Dr. Bhoopalam is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine and is a member of the Clinical Staff at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He is board certified with special interest in pediatrics nephrology (kidney diseases in children) and neonatology (care of the newborn).
Dr. Bhoopalam strives to provide high-quality, comprehensive and compassionate family-centered care. He communicates clearly to explain illness and treatment options. He believes in a holistic approach in treating problems and is not quick to prescribe medication.

Pediatric Nurse Practioner
Nicole Rector, PCNP
Nicole Rector is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She started her nursing career as an RN at Riley Hospital for Children in 2008. She has worked with many services, including hospitalist, renal, infectious disease, GI, and rheumatology. After a few years of working at Riley, she decided she wanted to expand her career to achieve her professional goal of working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. While in graduate school, she worked as a school nurse for Lawrence Township schools in Indianapolis. She became a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC), specializing in Primary Care, in 2014. She began her career as a CPNP-PC at Open Door Health Services before joining Dr. Bhoopalam and his team at Pavilion Pediatric Center, LLC in 2016. Her goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to every child and family. She strives to provide high quality care by focusing on preventative health, health promotion, health maintenance and education.
Nurse Practioner
Elayna Kaye, APRN, FNP-C
Elayna Kaye is a board certified family practice nurse practitioner. She earned her Masters in Nursing from University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, CT. She recently moved here from Connecticut, with her family, where she practiced pediatrics at West Hartford Pediatrics for the last 5 years. Before that, she worked as a registered nurse in pediatrics at several locations, including Charter Oak Health Center and The American School for the Deaf. Elayna is dedicated to providing exceptional medical care through compassion, active listening and collaborative teamwork. She has a passion for pediatrics, especially the great stickers and cool band-aids!
