Prenatal Meet and Greet

 

Choosing a pediatrician is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child before he or she arrives. The doctors at Pavilion Pediatrics Center feel that it is important to meet with you before your baby is born. This allows you to meet the doctor who will provide medical care for your child in the hospital and in our office.

Newborn Care

 

Your baby should have his first out-of-the-hospital check-up two days after discharge. This routine office visit will check your baby’s growth, development and general health. Important immunizations will be started to prevent your child from getting serious illnesses.

Same-Day Sick Visits

 

We understand you cannot always plan when your child needs to see their doctor. Pavilion Pediatrics Center offers same-day sick visits. With four physicians available we can see your child the same day you call for an appointment. We understand the importance of your child’s health.

Immunizations

 

The doctors of Pavilion Pediatrics Center would like to emphasize the importance of vaccinating your child. We firmly believe that all children and young adults should receive all recommended vaccines according to the schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

 

We firmly believe vaccinating children and young adults may be the single most important health-promoting service we perform as health care providers.

Sports Physicals

 

Sports physicals are more than just a checklist. Doctors are able to assess your child’s general health looking for any underlying illnesses such as heart, respiratory or neurologic disease. Physicals are a good time to discuss any sports related injuries with your child’s doctor.

Well-Child Physicals

 

Regular medical checkups are necessary to check on the growth and development of your child. Regular checkups allow the Doctors to assess your child’s height, weight, and nutrition. Doctors also use this time to discuss safety issues with your child in addition to staying current on recommended vaccinations.
